Dr. Tamara Lightbody

Dr. Tamara Lightbody is a graduate of the OVC in 2001. Along with her husband, she is raising her kids on the family beef farm, with their adopted dogs Laddie and Hughey and barn cat, Olive. She has a keen interest and specialized training in veterinary dentistry, is the current president of the Kawartha Veterinary Association, and is on the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association Board of Directors.

Dr. Lightbody keeps active with outdoor adventures hiking and kayaking in the sun, x-country skiing and hockey when it is cold. She enjoys photography, gardening and making maple syrup on her farm and takes advantage of any opportunity to travel.
